StudentsTHINK to solve a challenge, CREATE using their ideas--they can't be wrong as long as they can explain how their end product meets the challenge.Our unusual recycled materials make the process engaging and fun. In doing this, they LEARN about the topic, about recycling and reuse. They also seethat they have unique ideas.

Students then visit our store to fill a 5" x 7" x 11" grocery bag, choosing from over 300 items.Thisis a very exciting part of their visit--choosing their own "stuff"!

Return to your classroom and use projects for bulletin boards and language arts activities.

Girl Scout badge workshopsfeature 4 projectsfor any art-centered badge and last 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
